The spot features two beaches, one facing northwest and the other northeast, where surfing has been practiced since the 1970s and eFoil surfing since 2021. The waves are of intermediate difficulty. The area is very busy with swimmers and surfers from June 15 to September 15, but much quieter for the rest of the year. It also has a calm-water estuary that is ideal for beginners.
