Generally go down river from Williamette Park unless familiar with the river as the river can get shallow in parts going up river towards the Sellwood Bridge. Because it is a popular waterway, riders must remain attentive and share the river with motorized boats, paddlers, and rowers while managing wakes, natural river currents, and varying water traffic
